Welcome, my name is Andy. I'm a web designer and developer based in Australia. My focus is on producing clean, attractive designs that are accessible and easy to use – striking a balance between aesthetics and functionality. I'm a strong believer in web standards and an accessible web experience for everyone.

I'm a designer

As designer, it is my responsibility to present users with information in a way that is easy to understand and simple to access, while retaining its potency. User interfaces should be intuitive and powerful, not overwhelming, and adapt themselves to a range of devices and browsing environments.

I'm a developer

I like to use the web to solve problems, and make people's lives easier. I achieve this by delivering clean, semantic HTML, CSS and JavaScript to users, ensuring the widest possible compatibility. I make use of Ruby and Rails to construct customized applications, and utilize Wordpress and Drupal to enable dynamic content creation.
